Versailles and Normandy Pictures
On to my trip in the UK. The highlights I'm going to cover are:
- The British Museum
- The British Calvary Museum
- and the London Eye
I consider the British Museum the best museum I've ever been in. The neat thing about this museum is they have a History of the World: In 50 Objects. I'm going to show you numbers 1, 27, and 33. Lets start with No. 1.
No. 27.
No. 33.
Since my battery on my camera was running low, I only took pictures of the History of the World Objects. Anyway on to the British Calvary Museum. At this spot they have a horse changing of the guard every day. (There is a video, but I'll tell you about the videos later.) The British Calvary are no longer used, because the British military thinks that they are unreliable and expensive. I actually didn't have any photos of this museum. The London Eye was probably my favorite part of our time in London. For those of you who do not know what the London Eye is, do your self a favor and read this website: http://www.londoneye.com/.
Anyway, its a great view at the top, even at night. Here are some photos:
So that was my trip in the UK.
I said earlier that i would talk about videos. That is correct. Since it take 5 hrs to upload a video on Blogger, I have created a YouTube account. I'm going to post all of my videos there. Just search the channel 02CD406 (the same as my Twitter account [@02CD406]. (This is my number plate on our Toyota Surf). I will have videos from the UK and more coming soon.
Anyway come back next week to read Part 3: Ireland and Back Again. See you then,
